These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hitechnine.com and the Hitechnine DeepLink smart-link service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Contact: info@hitechnine.com.

1. The Service

Hitechnine DeepLink turns ordinary URLs into smart links that attempt to open the corresponding native app on mobile devices (for example Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram) and otherwise redirect to the normal web destination. The Service includes analytics, QR codes, collections, custom domains, an API and Amazon affiliate tag routing.

App-opening behaviour depends on the visitor's device, browser and platform policies. We always keep a safe HTTPS fallback, but we cannot guarantee that a native app will open in every situation (for example, iOS requires a user tap inside third-party browsers). Smart links never intentionally dead-end.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
• One account per person or entity unless we agree otherwise. Do not share accounts.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorised use or security incidents.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• create links to illegal content, malware, phishing or fraud;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• mislead visitors about the destination of a link;
• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its providers (including evading rate limits);
• resell the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and may remove links that create legal or security risk.

4. Plans, quotas and billing

• The Free plan includes 500 clicks per month across all links, up to 10 links, and no custom domains or API access. Paid plans (Pro, Business) include higher monthly clicks, unlimited links, custom domains and API access, as described on the pricing section.
• Links never stop resolving because of a quota. When a plan's monthly clicks are reached, new links, custom domains and API keys are paused until the period renews or you upgrade.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes (tax-inclusive). Payments, invoicing and card handling are provided by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and keep your plan active during the retry window; persistent failure may lead to downgrade to the Free plan.
• EU consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services; where the service starts immediately with your consent, that right does not apply to the consumed period. Contact us for billing questions.

5. Custom domains and API

• You confirm that you own or are authorised to use any custom domain you connect, and that you will set the DNS records we instruct.
• Custom domains must not be used for phishing or impersonation. We may disable a custom domain that creates abuse or security risk.
• API keys are secrets: keep them safe, and revoke any key that leaks. We may apply rate limits to protect the Service.

6. Your content and intellectual property

You keep all rights to the links, titles and content you create (your "Content"). You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display the Content solely to operate the Service. The Service itself — the platform, software, brand and design — remains our property. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law.

7. Analytics and privacy

The Service provides privacy-conscious analytics: salted visitor hashes, country-level location, and no stored IP addresses. You are responsible for using analytics lawfully, including providing any notices required to your own visitors.

8. Availability and changes

• We aim for high availability but provide the Service on a best-effort basis without an SLA unless agreed separately.
• We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we will provide reasonable notice.
• We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription in the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, your links stop resolving and your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or €50 if you used only the Free plan). Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European online dispute-resolution platform.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
