What happens when the visitor does not have the app installed?

Every smart link keeps a canonical HTTPS fallback. If the native app cannot open, the visitor lands on the standard web destination — never on an error.

Will this break my tracking?

No — campaign parameters and affiliate tags are preserved through the redirect, so your analytics and commissions keep working.

Does it work inside Instagram, TikTok and other in-app browsers?

Yes. In-app browsers get a gesture-safe bridge instead of a silent redirect, so the platform cannot swallow the hand-off.
